Sierra Foundation visited Sparks Mayor's Office and spoke with Mayor Geno Martini about the mission of the Sierra Foundation and the importance of interfaith & intercultural dialogue in promoting peace in the society. They informed Mayor Martini about activities of Sierra Foundation.
Sierra Foundation visited Councilman David Aiazzi's Office and spoke with David Aiazzi about the mission of the Sierra Foundation and the importance of interfaith & intercultural dialogue in promoting peace in the society. They informed Councilman about activities of Sierra Foundation. They also talked about possible future activities.
Reno Turkish Festival was sponsored and organized by the Sierra Foundation on Sunday, May 25 at Wingfield Park.
Despite the bad weather the Turkish Festival was a huge success! More than 300 people experienced Turkish art&craft, calligraphy, henna, folk dancing, face painting&cotton candy for kids, Turkish meatball, chicken shish kebab, baklava, salads, Turkish coffee and a musical performance by Ferhat Atli.
